Mission
You will be responsible as CAMO Engineer for technical & operational support to the in service fleet within the domain of cabin engineering, IFE and e-Enabled aircraft systems to drive operational efficiency. You work in a team with engineering colleagues in the operations engineering, close to the daily operations.
Tasks
- Manage operational support activities and technical problem solving in cooperation with trouble shooting department, maximizing availability for aircraft operations.
- Take responsibility to manage solutions on various cabin, cargo , IFE and eEnabled aircraft system technical issues in the operations, to maximise aircraft availability and technical reliability
- Use your OEM contacts to search support for technical queries and exchange experience
- Manage coordination for complex technical queries, take control and lead the process to solve the problem quickly, if needed be on the aircraft to support trouble shooting
- Issue Experience sheets for continuous improvement of recurrent or airworthiness related technical subjects in your domain
- Act as the point of contact for technical issues within your domain for Part 145 and all other M&E CAMO departments , give necessary support to flight operations
- Study incident related root causes & initiate relevant improvement actions
- Give support to heavy maintenance queries in timely manner
- Take responsibility to follow up implemented preventive maintenance actions and act accordingly
- Use contacts within LH group to benchspan reliability KPI’s, share best practices and cooperate to jointly approach OEM’s for solutions
- Act as Point of Contact with Authorities for any technical queries within your domain and comply to the regulations applicable for aircraft cabins
- Act as a technical resource in relevant meetings
Your profile
- Bachelor diploma or equivalent with relevant experience in aircraft engineering and maintenance
- Knowledge op Part 145 and Part M responsibilities
- Strong analytical performance in analysing problems and be critical in studies, detail for quality
- Be well grounded in technical knowledge and communication skills to achieve the objectives
- Strong personality and good communication skills as an “airline representative” to discuss and defend your technical-commercial problems in a professional manner
- Ability to manage problems and projects in a structured manner, project management is an advantage
- Experience in Airbus aircraft maintenance and engineering, e-Enabled aircraft systems is an advantage
- Solid technical writing skills
- Very good in English, verbal and written skills, knowledge of French or Dutch is seen as an asset
- Good planner and organiser and project-oriented work
- Knowledge in the essential functions of MS Office products (word, excel, PPT)
