Founded in 2021, the Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) unit will be contributing to Airbus’ global success and play a vital role in Airbus’ transformation journey in standardisation, harmonisation, digitalisation and automation of end-to-end processes (e.g.Procure to Pay) of all overhead functions. Our target is that siloed ways of working / processes will be a relic of the past within the AGBS. To drive such culture change we are looking for candidates with pioneering spirit that make data-driven decisions and take responsibility for the best outcome of their internal customers. Responsibilities - your mission
Be accountable for an effective data governance within the domain
Ensure understanding / definition of manufacturing engineering data, including definition and maintenance of the manufacturing engineering business data object catalogue
Develop partnering with requirement owners (legal, export control, data protection,…) to ensure data compliance with internal/external regulation/policies
Initiate and follow data quality improvement activities
Provide guidance for a proper business use of the data including finding authoritative data sources
Act as enabler to ease & accelerate data usage
Drive data governance operational committees with a network of data custodians.
Develop partnering with information management actors to manage data serving, quality, compliance and access
Develop partnering with data officers network in order to ease and accelerate data usage and availability and contribute to overall company target to manage data as an asset
Data modelling in the ASA BMS Software ARIS
Responsibility for data compliance in ME
Requirements - our ideal candidate will have
Bachelor or Master degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Information Technology or related field
Experience of 2-3 years on data governance or database management
Programming skills in Python/Pyspark or equivalent
Knowledge in Airbus Analytics Platforms (e.g. Skywise including Contour, Slate and Code Repository) are a plus
Excellent G Suite skills
Continuous improvement mindset: draw conclusions on how to improve processes for the organization
Experience with stakeholder management and a customer oriented mindset
Structured way of working with resilience and proactiveness
Ability to simplify the business and communicate easily
Flexibility and a team player with innovative thinking
Advanced level of English
