Role Summary
* In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic and electrical systems in alignment with customer requirements and contract specifications. You will apply your expertise in engineering principles, system architecture, and data analysis to create, document, and maintain complex system designs while ensuring traceability throughout the product lifecycle. Working closely with design, build, and test teams, you will define test strategies, resolve integration and production issues, and evaluate emerging technologies for future product development. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work onsite full-time in the St. Louis, Missouri region and obtain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance. Education & Job Requirements
* Associate Level 2:
* Must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of related work experience OR must have an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., Master’s). In the USA, ABET accreditation is preferred, although not required.
* Experienced Level 3:
* Must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.Must have a minimum of 5 years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
* Must have the ability to relocate to or currently reside in the St. Louis, Missouri region.
* Must have strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Must have the ability to work onsite full-time at one of the client’s listed Missouri or Illinois facilities. Preferred Skills
* You will have experience in the Aerospace Industry.
* You will have experience using good communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* You will have experience within a design/build or test team.
* You will have experience creating, developing, and/or maintaining engineering processes.
* You will have experience with electronic/electrical system design or test plan development and execution based on requirements.
* You will have strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and architecture. Job Duties/Functions
* Using your understanding of job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts.
* Developing, documenting, and maintaining electronic and electrical system requirements according to customer desires and contract requirements.
* Developing statements of work and technical performance specifications.
* Analyzing, translating, and implementing requirements into system architecture, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications, showing traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
* Defining test and validation approaches to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
* Resolving product integration issues and production anomalies.
* Investigating emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements and for potential application to the companys business needs.
* Monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
* Developing and documenting moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
* Designing hardware, software, and interface specifications.
* Solving problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
* Working onsite 100 at one of the listed Missouri or Illinois locations.
* Participating in domestic and/or international travel as needed.
