Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Design, develop, operate, and maintain software and firmware components used in a variety of engineering, scientific, and manufacturing applications.
This includes integrating computing systems software into applications such as:
Laboratory simulations
Aircraft flight control and display systems
Avionics, mechanical, and electrical systems
Weapons and armament systems
Mobile and ground-based defense systems
Space systems and other advanced platforms
Interface with customers, suppliers, application users, and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Develop and maintain real-time simulation code, user interface code, device drivers, data collection, and display code
Analyze requirements and perform operations and software development through integration in a prototype environment
Identify and resolve software engineering issues to meet overall product and program goals
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field (required)
Active Secret Clearance (required to start)
Full-time onsite work required
Hands-on experience in real-time software development, embedded systems, or hardware testing
Proficiency in C and C++ (C++11 or higher) within a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) or Linux environment
Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) systems (development and testing)
Low-level device drivers/firmware development
Experience across the full software development lifecycle
Familiarity with cross-discipline team collaboration
Git for version control
GitLab for CI/CD and software configuration management
Python for scripting and automation
Jira for issue tracking and Agile project management
Integration of software with FPGA and FPGA code
GoogleTest for automated unit and integration testing
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
