Engine Technicians (Licensed)
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Engine Technicians for an opportunity in Wilmington, Ohio.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Seeking a skilled and reliable Aircraft Engine Technician to support maintenance operations on external engine components. This role focuses on inspection, troubleshooting, and component-level maintenance (non-internal engine work) in accordance with FAA regulations and customer specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and thrives in a team-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft engine components (external only), including filter changes and component replacements
- Troubleshoot engine-related issues and support corrective actions
- Conduct inspections in accordance with applicable technical data and maintenance manuals
- Execute work in compliance with FAA regulations and customer maintenance specifications
- Accurately document maintenance actions using approved and authorized documentation
- Return components to service after verifying completion of all required maintenance actions
- Collaborate with team members and report directly to a Component Repair Production Supervisor
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) license required
- Minimum of 2 years of engine-related maintenance experience
- Basic understanding of FAA regulations, including CFR Part 145 repair station operations
- Ability to read and interpret engine manuals and technical documentation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Must provide own basic tools (e.g., hand tools, sockets, wrenches, mallets, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications- Current CRO (Component Repair Organization) experience
