We are now recruiting Apprentices for our 2025 intake and are accepting applications! This four-year program combines practical training with academic study, equipping you with the skills needed to build a successful career in engineering.
- Year 1: You will attend the Kingston College where you will spend four days a week developing practical engineering skills and studying engineering theory. One day a week onsite to gain hands on experience alongside your study. During this time, you will be paid to learn and build a strong foundation in the industry.
- Year 2: You will transition to a combination of on-the-job training at our Hayes facility and one day per week at college to complete the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Engineering.
- Years 3 & 4: You will continue work-based training at LTLGS while progressing towards the NVQ III Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications
To be considered for the apprenticeship, you must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of *5 GCSEs (grades 9–5 / A–B)**, including Maths, English, and Science
- A strong desire to develop a career in engineering
- High levels of self-motivation, determination, and enthusiasm
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility and willingness to learn
- Ability to commute between our facility in Hayes and Kingston College
Working Conditions
- 4-year fixed term
- Full-time role (37.5 hours per week)
- Onsite work
- Must be willing to work shifts
