The Non Desctructive Test (NDT) Engineering Technician performs non-destructive tests on various materials and products. Set-up and maintain equipment and assure calibration for tests to be performed. Conduct inspections of materials, parts, and assemblies using automated and manual methods and techniques. Interpret, evaluate, and report test results of specific products.
Essential Functions:
Assists higher level NDT Technicians by performing standard non-destructive testing inspections on components parts and assemblies.
Assists in setting up and calibrating equipment under the direct observation of higher level NDT Technicians.
Assists in preparing components for non-destructive testing inspection utilizing available equipment and processes under the direct observation of higher level technician(s).

Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations.
Knowledge of the techniques, tools, and equipment used in the inspection process.
Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing methods.
Basic arithmetic, algebra, and physics principles and operations to solve problems.
Ability to interpret engineering specifications, drawings, blueprints, production plans, and/or work instructions.
