Summary:

Evaluate program and project requirements; develop complex equipment concepts and design solutions.

Review electrical schematics, control panel designs, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Compile and analyze technical data to assess impacts on product design, usability, and production rates.

Ensure compliance with safety, reliability, maintainability, ergonomics, and regulatory standards.

Develop and release bid/purchase specifications for equipment needs from suppliers.

Troubleshoot production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability.

Implement work-arounds and maintain hardware/documentation configuration.

Perform studies and recommend disposition of assets.

Manage testing and commissioning of automated system acquisition and modification projects.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in engineering or related field.

Ability to work on the manufacturing floor wearing steel-toed shoes.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
