Equipment Efficiency Engineer (OEE)
We are searching for an experienced and highly motivated plant (OEE) equipment efficiency engineer responsible for data-driven equipment analysis to drive efficiency and reliability improvements in throughput, up-time, energy consumption, yield and product quality. Primary focus will be plant capital equipment in powder metal processing (Atomization towers and screening/can fill
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop deep understanding of plant capital equipment in process, product and operation.
- Through data driven analytics, identify opportunities for improvement in equipment efficiency.
- Drive overall uptime, energy consumption, product yield, product quality, safety and operational consistency
- Manage cradle to grave equipment improvement projects with partnership from Metallurgy, Quality, Maintenance and Operations.
- Drive root cause investigations, failure mode monitoring/analysis.
- Manage budget, schedule, subcontractors and internal personnel on projects
- Produce accurate and timely engineering calculations
- Engineering specifications and drawings, review of engineering documents and factory acceptance
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience (preferably Mechanical)
- 5-7 years of experience in equipment engineering/maintenance
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong data analysis and willingness to be a hands on engineer
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3-D Drawing Software
- Good communications and organization skills
