Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Forecasting Analyst supporting a high-visibility F135 Sustainment Integrated Fleet Support team. This role supports four key team deliverables: execute forecasting, powerplant engineering, maintenance program management, and shop visit cost management. The successful Forecasting Analyst conducts fleet behavior analytics and forecasting for the propulsion system depot repair network and life cycle planning to support the safety, readiness, effectiveness, and affordability of the propulsion system.  

What Will You Do

• Development of predictive analytics using simple and advanced lifing algorithm data 

• Mining of data of data from a variety of different business sources to perform appropriate business analytics. Using methods such as: Excel, Minitab, JMP and limited scripting in languages such as R and Python 

• Maintenance and development of flight hour behavior profiles as requested by Sustainment and other F135 customers 

• Conducting fly-forwards on a regular basis to support programs plans, including but not limited to CFT and hardware inspection planning

• Daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders on inputs to forecasting. Generating standard analysis and potential scenarios, or ad-hoc analysis, is critical to the successful execution of this role. This position includes periodic presentations to leadership to explain analysis results. 

• Travel 10 (Domestic and International).

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelors Degree

• 5 years of experience in forecasting and analytics models, or an Advance degree and 3 years of experience in forecasting and analytics models

• U.S. Person – Military contract stipulates the candidates must be U.S. Persons.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Aerospace Logistics, or equivalent 

• F135 or other Military Engines logistics experience 

• Familiar with engine overhaul & repair processes, engine hardware, assembly, operation, and testing

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
