Industrial Engineer 2 M/F

Job Description:

1.tProvide technical expertise to Cabin industrialization deliverables on new programs as part of the integrated program team
2.tProvide industrialization expertise to development and execution of Industrialization plans in accordance with Cabin standards and program goals
3.tApply significant technical knowledge to creation of the production element of the industrial dossier, mainly Manufacturing Bill of Materials, Routers, Standardized work instructions (including operations allocated time)
4.tGuide the Design and Manufacturing teams to develop optimal production processes for each product type
5.tProvide technically advanced feedback to Design group for DFMA (design for manufacture and assembly)
6.tProvide significant technical expertise to integrate and plan the design, manufacture and implementation of new tools or prototypes from the tooling engineering teams on the new program
7.tDevelop complex Cycle time and Takt Time standards and plans to achieve them
8.tMaintain industrialization metrics in line with Cabin standard KPIs and communicate performance on a regular basis
9.tAnalyze and manage industrial process and product risks during development for a program or entire production line
10.tChampion and implement Lean principles - Green Belt Level
11.tKnow, understand, and accurately apply regulatory requirements, customer specifications and company specifications
12.tUnderstand and apply machining, assembly lines, BOM creation, line layout concepts. Be proficient with most site manufacturing procedures.
13.tApply concepts relating to manufacturability to engineering drawing and models
14.tProficiency with knowledge of assembly line and composites manufacturing
15.tProvide help, guidance, and training to lower level engineers as required
16.tPerform all other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years related experience in highly regulated engineering design or production environment.
Computer Skills:
•\tAdvanced understanding of ERP systems
•\tWorking knowledge of CATIA V5 & Smarteam
•\tGood knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Other Skills:
•\tExperience working at an aircraft or other aerospace OEM
•\tSignificant knowledge of common materials and manufacturing processes used in the aerospace industry
•\tProven ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and models
•\tUse of LEAN tools like VSM and 5S
•\tProven organization and communication skills
•\tAbility to work well independently and cross-functionally with minimal oversight.
•\tStrong communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills
•\tWorking knowledge of primary processes like CNC machining, Layup and Crush Core
•\tWhite Belt Trained
