Liaison Engineer
Join our team as a Line Maintenance Liaison Engineer and take on a dynamic, hands-on role at the heart of our line maintenance network. Acting as the key link between easyJet and our maintenance providers, youll oversee the day-to-day performance across a portfolio of assigned line stations. With full ownership of your schedule, youll travel independently to stations based on operational needs, performance trends, audits, and AOG events. This is a high-impact position offering autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to represent easyJet across our network—while also supporting the evaluation of new locations and opportunities as directed by the Line Maintenance Manager.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Line Maintenance Liaison Engineer, you’ll be the key point of contact between easyJet and our contracted maintenance providers, overseeing the performance and compliance of assigned Line and Light Base Maintenance stations. You’ll conduct regular site visits, lead safety and audit investigations, support AOG recovery, and ensure adherence to easyJet’s technical procedures and airworthiness standards. You’ll also play a role in start-up audits, training, resource coordination, commercial activity oversight, and continuous improvement of provider performance. This is a highly autonomous role with real influence over operational quality, safety, and strategic maintenance delivery across our network.
What you’ll need to do the role:
We’re looking for someone with a solid background in the Aircraft Maintenance or MRO industry, who brings strong knowledge of Part M, Part CAMO, and Part 145 regulations. You’ll have hands-on experience with aircraft maintenance processes and procedures, as well as contract and supplier management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with strong organisational abilities and interpersonal skills that help you build effective relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AMOS is required, and we value individuals who are motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement. A spoken foreign language would be an added advantage.
