This opportunity provides hands-on experience in managing non-conforming hardware and participating in key quality processes. Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run June-December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).
What You Will Do:
- Support the Quality Clinic in managing non-conforming hardware and handling quality notices.
- Get trained on the SAP Material Management System and various quality management tools.
- Apply root cause analysis techniques to address and resolve quality issues.
- Participate in material dispositions and Supplier Quality management processes.
- Engage in special projects designed to enhance your learning and professional growth.
- Collaborate with the team to support repair and overhaul operations for aerospace hardware.
What You Will Learn:
- Proficiency in using SAP Material Management System and quality management tools.
- Techniques for managing non-conforming hardware and performing material dispositions.
- Methods for applying root cause analysis to resolve quality issues.
- Insights into Supplier Quality management and operational processes in aerospace.
- Experience in working on special projects that drive learning and development.
- Understanding of quality clinic operations and their impact on aerospace hardware.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to aerospace, computer systems, electrical, industrial, material science, mechanical, packaging, software, or systems engineering.
- Maintained a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours in your degree program.
- U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Strong computer skills for data management and analysis.
- Previous coursework or experience related to quality engineering or aerospace systems.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
