Our world is changing. And so are we. From our commitment to zero-carbon flight (ZEROe) to cleaning up space, sustainability is at the heart of our purpose. So what&39;s your next change?

Our contract at Brize Norton with the MOD states we will provide a continuous service to cover 24 hours, 7 days a week and 365 days a year to the Royal Air Force, to maintain and ensure airworthiness of their fleet of aircraft.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Control Centre Engineer (MCCE) to join the team within The Atlas Integrated Operations Centre (AIOC) at RAF Brize Norton. Being the focal point of UK A400M operations, empowered to make decisions with clear escalation pathways.

The MCCE role is both complex and demanding. It involves overseeing and coordinating all maintenance activities for the UK A400M fleet of aircraft at Main Operating Base (MOB) and around the world. This includes troubleshooting of technical issues and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Additionally, communication and coordination with various teams are crucial for the smooth operation of the UK A400M fleet.

Working under the supervision and reporting directly to the Duty Operations Manager (DOM), you will provide a single point of contact for the operational fleet, confidently giving technical advice where required whilst receiving and enacting incoming requests and updating aircraft serviceability status.

Building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders is crucial. This includes collaborating with aircraft engineers, technical services engineers, logistics, AC Managers and RAF Management. Effective communication skills are essential for conveying technical information, coordinating maintenance activities, and addressing concerns from different departments.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

  • The designated MCCE shall provide operational status information on a company and customer level via the Fleet Status Report, ensuring accurate and correct data is displayed at all times. They will chair the Daily Ops Brief and shall provide Daily Operational Priorities for Team Atlas.

  • You will drumbeat the recovery of AOG aircraft at MOB and Deployed locations.

  • You will liaise with other AIOC team members to ensure aircraft are quickly and effectively recovered - These include Logistics, Fleet Tasking and Availability Management (FTAM) and Short-Term Planning.

  • The Minimum Operational & Safety Equipment List (MOSEL) and Acceptable Deferred Faults (ADF&39;s) shall be logged and continuously monitored to ensure any Calendar/Hours/Cycles limitations are not exceeded, and that any operational restrictions are escalated.

  • You will maintain communication with the Pt.145 Senior Lead Engineers with reference to serviceability states and readiness levels at Main Operating Base (MOB).

  • You will monitor the co-ordination and progress of aircraft, workforce, spares and facilities for tasks accomplished by the Part 145 maintenance organisations and the scheduled accomplishment of all routine maintenance tasks, providing escalation pathways as issues are identified.

ABOUT YOU

  • Hold either a UK/EASA PT.66 engineers&39; licence or be able to demonstrate relevant experience and competence.

  • Knowledge of A400M systems and platform.

  • Knowledge of SFAR-88, EWIS and Human Factors.

  • Be proficient in the use of the appropriate Communication and Information systems (SharePoint, OneNote, Google Drive, Q-Pulse, MDS, local databases etc.)
