Non-Metallic Materials & Processes Engineering
Bring your experience and ideas and help us optimize the usage of non-metallic materials and processes for rotorcraft applications on commercial and military programs. You’ll work with Design Teams, Procurement, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure materials and process requirements are successfully implemented. You’ll be able to make an impact by resolving materials issues; and developing improved materials and process methods. You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities, while gaining experience in leadership and communication.
What you’ll be doing as a Non-Metallic Materials & Processes Principal Engineer
- Provide non-metallic materials & process guidance to Design and Manufacturing teams during all phases of product development, Design, Test, Production, and Sustainment.
- Influence and guide material selection through collaboration with Integrated Product Teams.
- Develop and evaluate new and improved materials and process methods, including the creation and execution of test plans, test reports, and development and maintenance of material and process specifications.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain & Manufacturing organizations to resolve manufacturing issues, and perform on-site technical assessments of suppliers.
