Our Client is looking for an energetic and driven PLC controls engineer to support the development of cutting-edge test systems.? This role will bring PLC experience to a cross-functional team to support the design and implement of controls on a Beckhoff PLC system for multiple subsystems and communication systems, including safety critical controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation of system logic using TwinCat software for Beckhoff PLC
• Support team in risk and safety assessments relating to PLC implementation
• Support team in properly defining safety critical controls architecture
• Support team in defining communication and timing capabilities

Desired Qualifications

• 3+ year of experience implementing controls on industrial PLCs.
• 3+ year of experience designing safety critical control circuits on industrial control systems.
• Experience using TwinCat software and Beckhoff PLCs.
• Bachelors degree
• Strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving ability and execution skills.
