Job TitleQA Engineer, Audits & Coordination

Role PurposeTo perform audits, surveillance, investigation, raise deficiency reports and administer airworthiness approval/license/certificates for MABs fleet.
Key Accountability- To accomplish planned audit; compliance, products, station, directed, evaluation and vendor, in accordance with approved annual plan audit program to ensure compliance with CAAM requirements and Company policies.
- To carry out investigation arising from accident/incident; MOR, Safety Report, SAFA, Foreign Aviation Authorities Audit findings, etc.
- Responsible to vet Concessions, Dispensations, Vendor registration, reports and recommending for approval by HQA/MQA.
- To administer aircraft CoR, CoA and other aircraft airworthiness certificates.
- To conduct surveillance of aircraft during hangar checks and at ramp to ensure compliance to CAAM, manufacturer and Company requirements and standard practices.
- To vet, update and regularly review exposition, procedures manual, publications and forms to ensure its compliance with CAAM requirements and Company policies.
- To perform coordination with other departments and get involved with projects especially for regulatory application and compliance.
Qualifications & Working Experience- CAAM AMEL Part-66 Cat B1/B2
- Aircraft Type B1/B2 endorsement
- Minimum 5 years working experience as LAE B1/B2 and at least 2 years in supervisory level e.g. Duty Engineer/Lead Engineer of Shift at Line/Base Maintenance/Workshops or
- At least 1 aircraft operated by MAB. Having the aircraft type rating endorsement, 5 years or if without aircraft type rating endorsement, 10 years maintenance experience in Continuing Airworthiness environment.
Areas of ExperienceSkills & Knowledge- Successfully completed Lead Auditor and Safety Investigation courses.
- Familiar with MCAR 2016, CAAM Part 145 and M, EASA Part-M, EASA Part-145 and FAR-145.
- Must be IT literate; good knowledge in digital system including Microsoft Office.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
- Good project management and presentation skill.
