Quality Engineering
Bring your experience and ideas and help us develop and execute the processes used in the manufacturing environment to ensure robust and cost-effective designs. This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with customers and subcontractors. You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities on significant engineering problems, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication.
What you’ll be doing as a Quality Engineer
- Assists in the development and execution of processes used in the manufacturing environment to ensure robust and cost-effective designs.
- Analyzes processes to determine manufacturing capability, failure modes and corrective action/improvement opportunities.
- Participates in design requirements analysis to develop new quality control processes (including use of advanced aerospace materials) and validate corrective actions.
- Considered a Helper, Learner, Follower, or "Detail Manager", within one or more of the following areas:
- Corrective Action
- Continuous Improvement
- Customer Service and Support
- Inspection Processes/Techniques
- Quality Systems & Records
- Metrology/Calibration
- Quality Program Management
Skills You Bring To this Role
- Business Acumen - Understands how business works, acquiring knowledge in current policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the organization.
- Functional/Technical Skills - Basic level of product manufacture, inspection, testing, and inspection technology; acquiring skills in process management, technical specifications, regulatory guidelines, and the application of Quality Standards.
- Hands on experience with automotive, agricultural, construction, or computers.
