OnsiteThis position is for a Senior Electrical Engineering Design Engineer. The position will support electronic control system development programs for aerospace products. This role is responsible for solving complex design challenges and becoming proficient in various designs and design processes in the electrical design discipline. This individual will be a key technical contributor in the design, development, and support of electronic control products within the Collins Aerospace Power & Controls product line. This engineer will require clear and effective communication and teamwork skills in a cross-discipline work environment interacting with design engineers, project leads, lab personnel, program managers and customers.
What You Will Do
- Solve design challenges and participate as part of a cross functional team of engineers.
- Work on projects ranging from in manufacturing operational support on existing product sustainment, production support, and field investigations.
- Provide engineering support to manufacturing operations. This includes but not limited to test event evaluations, supporting yield trend analysis, and supporting component obsolesce analysis.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A strong designer with prior experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis, complex logic devices.
- Prior experience with electronic circuit testing methodologies, and hardware / software integration.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
