Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Investigation of field events - collecting and analyzing data, investigating root cause and proposing containment and corrective actions.
Communication with Authority (EASA) regarding recent event and resolutions.
Preparation and maintenance of documentation for Continued Airworthiness (Service Bulletins, Manuals, Repair instructions).
Supporting Field Service Engineering with troubleshooting and technical instructions.
Developing Service design concepts based on user needs, and define allocation to subsystems based on refinement of the design concept with SME in subsystems.
Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Resolving issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors degree in Aviation field.
Basic experience in the Engineering/Technology & Service Engineering.
Good ability in prioritizing client needs, delivering exceptional service, and continuously seeking ways to enhance customer satisfaction.
Good interpersonal skills.
Desired Characteristics
Ability to work with Engineering and Technological documentation (Manuals) related to engine maintenance and drive its improvements.
Engine/Aircraft system mindset to lead or support investigation of Safety and Reliability issues reported from field and shops.
Basic skills with data analysis – typically failure rates of engine modules and accessories to identify leading indicators.
Practical mindset for continuous improvement of the Maintenance Services provided in the shop to reduce cost and improve turn-around time.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
