Job Description:

The Job involves working with a highly talented team of Flight Management Systems engineers, who are working together to make the Avionics of the future. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. The Job involves design, development of Flight Management systems on an integrated platform.

This position requires significant experience in the Flight Management Systems. The responsibilities, skills and duties for this role include,

• The candidate should have good understanding of avionics products, process, tools and methodologies and interface with customer and other stakeholders for program execution.
• The candidate should have a good understanding of Flight Management Systems product line.
• The candidate should have at least 12+ years of experience in software/systems design and development of avionics products
• Avionics background, Knowledge, and experience on DO-178B/C, Aero Process is required.
• The candidate should have good understanding of FMS functionalities and latest development for the Business Jet, Regional and General Aviation spanet.
• Experience in use of Configuration Management Tools - Clear-Case, Team-Center, PVCS, DOORS
• Aware of Agile methodologies like KANBAN and SCRUM.
• Experience in supporting Internal/external quality audits
• The candidate should be able to work in large size team and interface with the team lead/customer focal and other stakeholders to carry forward the program execution.
• Drive technical process, participate in technical reviews and drive actions to closure.
• Deliver technical white papers/Patent/IP.
• Owner of technical content and deliverables of the team
• Co-own strategies and improvement initiatives for the team
• Aptitude to independently explore technologies, conceptualize and propose solutions and execute development of new products
• Seeking proactive feedback for continuous improvement and Build relationships and collaborating with business partners and stakeholders.
• Excellent focus on execution, should ensure responsiveness to customers, team and management
• Driving innovation, creating growth ideas relevant to global & local spanets, products and initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement and refinement of processes, methods, standards, guidelines, and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering with specialization in Computer Science or Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, Aerospace.
• Minimum of 12+ years avionics design, product development, system integration experience.
• Experienced with Flight Management Systems - Platform
• Very Good hands on development experience in ADA, C, C++.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong personal leadership abilities and ability to handle multiple activities/priorities effectively
• Action oriented, results driven, self starter/learner
• Influential with peers and customers and demonstrate critical thinking skill
• Innovative with new approaches to design work
