Lead and manage the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Digital Operations at the plant, ensuring zero unplanned downtimes for plant operations. Drive minor enhancements and bug fixes on the existing application and coordinate with product teams to test and deploy major enhancements on existing digital enterprise applications & identify automation opportunities in existing processes. Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of MES and associated digital applications. Ensure high system uptime, availability, and performance in line with business requirements. Manage incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis with defined SLAs. Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for digital operations. Ensure consistent adherence to operational processes across teams. Maintain and update operational documentation for audits and compliance. Define and track operational KPIs such as uptime , incident resolution time, and SLA adherence. Set up monitoring dashboards and generate regular performance reports for leadership. Drive continuous improvements in operational efficiency and reliability. Maintain Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensure accurate asset tracking. Manage vulnerability remediation and ensure compliance with IT security and audit standards. Support risk assessments and ensure operational readiness.

Education Qualification
B.Tech/BE (any Engineering discipline) with exposure to IT7–10 years of experience in Digital Operations / MES / IT Operations. Proven expertise in managing uptime, system performance, and incident resolution. Experience with MES platforms (GE Proficy Suite, ThingWorx, Historians, OPCs etc.) plus exposure to Maximo and Tool Management systems. Familiarity with ITIL/service management frameworks and operational best practices. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with KPI-driven mindset. Excellent communication, stakeholder, and vendor management skills. Prior experience in developing SOPs and operational governance. Understand key cross-functional concepts that impact the organization; is aware of business priorities and organizational dynamicsCoach and mentor team members.Familiar with concepts of costing hardware and software components. Preferred Qualifications:
