Essential Responsibilities

  • Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.

  • Ability to take ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver independently while mentoring and helping team members

  • Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices

  • Analyze, design and develop a roadmap and do impact analysis based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint in Oracle - Depot Repair, PO, OM, INV modules

  • Coding or solutions using PL/SQL procedures and packages, Unix Shell Scripts, Oracle forms, Oracle OAF

  • Configure enterprise applications that meets standards and delivers desired functionality in Oracle Apps

  • Evaluate requests for enhancements and determine potential impacts with the current system design/configuration

  • Triage/debug production issues (Data, Code, Performance, Security, etc.), identify root cause and corrective actions.

  • Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.

  • Partner with GE Aerospaces Storefront business team and other functional teams in Supply Chain to understand business problems, design requirements, perform development and testing , conduct CRP and UAT

  • Attend CAB processes and meetings to migrate code to PROD. Monitor programs, interfaces using APPWORX chains and create new ones

  • Develop Technical/Design documents like CF250/MD200/BR100

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

  • 5 -10 years of experience in Oracle application development & implementation

  • Techno functional experience in Oracle SCM modules (Depot Repair, PO, OM, INV)

  •  implementation – features, functionalities, configuration, front and back end technical details

  • High Technical PL-SQL Ability and experience working in Oracle EBS  RICEW Components  is a must along with BI Publisher Reports, Web ADIs, Oracle Form Builders, Form personalization, OAF. Knowledge of APPWORX.

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills that non-technical end users can understand, Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to build positive and professional business relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Proven track record of successful problem definition, decomposition                  

  • Expert in navigating through ambiguity and prioritizing conflicting asks

  • Skilled in design, architecture and delivery

  • Effectively collaborate with different stakeholders, influences decisions, ability to take strategic view.
