Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance
As a Systems Engineer for Strategic Weapons Control, you will support a cross-functional engineering team responsible for modernizing current and next-generation strategic weapons platforms, with a focus on system integration, requirements management, verification, and weapons control technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development, integration, testing, verification, and validation of Strategic Weapons Control and Fire Control Systems (FCS)
- Manage system requirements, documentation, traceability, and configuration activities throughout the engineering lifecycle
- Coordinate hardware and software integration efforts, including test planning, troubleshooting, execution, and reporting
- Contribute to system architecture development, design reviews, technical documentation, and customer deliverables
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to resolve complex technical challenges and support program execution
- Participate in design reviews and technical presentations with internal teams and government customers
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes and apply emerging technologies, including AI-driven solutions, for continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 months of related experience
- Understanding of systems engineering principles, technical standards, and engineering lifecycle processes
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a collaborative engineering environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Fire Control Systems (FCS) or strategic weapons systems
- Knowledge of systems engineering processes, requirements management, verification, validation, and documentation control
- Experience supporting hardware/software integration, troubleshooting, and test execution
- Familiarity with systems modeling and requirements management tools
- Ability to support cross-functional engineering teams and technical design reviews
- Strong technical presentation and communication skills
