PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a Structural & Payload Design Engineer to develop and optimize advanced structural and payload systems. What You’ll DoDevelop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements to define cutting-edge aerospace designs.
Utilize 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to create and refine structural components.
Provide technical expertise to engineering teams, production operations, and suppliers throughout the product lifecycle.
Conduct tests and analyses to validate and verify system and component performance.
Manage supplier development, testing, and production activities to ensure quality and efficiency.
Assist in investigating emerging technologies and develop innovative concepts for future aerospace advancements.
Work under minimal direction, applying your expertise to solve complex engineering challenges.
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
Strong background in structural and payload system design within the aerospace industry.
Proficiency in 3D CAD tools and design methodologies.
Experience in supplier management, testing, and production coordination.
Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of advanced aerospace materials and technologies.
Experience in developing and implementing new design processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive technical solutions.
