We’re looking for an Integration Engineer who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This person must be comfortable working with a team of top-notch developers and collaborating with our systems and software engineering teams. They are passionate about making a systems-of-systems work by diving into the details. We’re looking for someone who innovates, and loves solving hard problems! Key job responsibilities
Were looking for an Integration Engineer to join VIPA (Vehicle Integration and Performance Assessment) who combines strong technical and analytical capabilities with a scientific mindset for solving complex drone software integration challenges. This person must be comfortable:

- Working with cross-functional teams to integrate, analyze and test drone software
- Developing Python scripts to test and characterize system performance
- Collaborating on critical certification milestones for drone software systems
- Conducting root cause analysis and developing evidence-based solutions
- Applying disciplined measurement and statistical methods to verify software
- Developing and maintaining robust testing infrastructure and verification processes

The ideal candidate embraces our tenets of relentless optimization, disciplined measurement, scientific methodology, and relentless pursuit of certification milestones. Youll work with top-tier engineers to ensure Prime Airs drone software meets or exceeds design expectations across all stages of development.

Job Requirements:
- Are enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor's degree or above in enginnering or equivalent
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving clarity- Knowledge of best practices for software deployment
- Software development experience
- Experience in software integration with robotic or aerospace products
- Experience developing and analyzing metrics, KPIs, and performance targets for complex software systems
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration for vehicle applications and operating systems
- Experience in developing test criteria for integrated systems
- Background in robotics or aerospace vehicle software systems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic spanets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,200/year in our lowest geographic spanet up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic spanet. Pay is based on a number of factors including spanet location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
