Supports development and integration of complex systems on Air Dominance Fixed Wing, Phantom Works, Weapon, or Training Systems Programs. Works with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to implement and manage the Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach. Leads cross-functional teams, executes requirements decomposition, system architecture, trade studies, program planning, interfaces management, risk management, certification and verification planning, and captures outcomes in MBSE models. Applies collaborative approaches to design, develop, and verify integrated systems solutions.

* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
* A minimum of 4 years of systems engineering experience.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen. Preferred Skills
* Experience with tactical or defense aircraft, mission systems, and weapon system development.
* Experience with software requirements and verification management.
* Experience supporting verification and/or certification efforts for military safety-critical or mission-critical systems.
* Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as MSOSA or similar SysML-compatible tools.
* Experience with DOORS, JIRA, and Confluence.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance. Job Duties & Functions
* Lead cross-functional engineering teams to meet project/program commitments and support deliveries and customer reviews.
* Implement, maintain, and refine the systems engineering approach.
* Support MBSE implementation as part of digital engineering.
* Execute systems engineering efforts, including requirements decomposition, system architecture, environment analysis, specification development, trade studies, program planning, interfaces management, risk management, certification planning and execution, verification and test planning, and integration captured in MBSE models.
* Apply interdisciplinary approaches to plan, design, develop, and verify complex systems solutions. Physical Requirements & Environment
