Supports system architecture development and decomposition using MBSE (SysML/Cameo), defines interfaces, functions, and allocation across multiple domains, and leads cross-functional engineering teams to meet program commitments. Performs requirements decomposition, system analysis, specification development, trade studies, program planning, interfaces management, risk management, certification planning and execution, verification and test planning, and overall integration, capturing all information in the MBSE model as appropriate. Collaborates with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure systems meet operational and program requirements.

* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* 7+ years of work-related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 3+ years of work-related engineering experience with a relevant Master’s or PhD.
* Prior Systems Engineering experience, including system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation.
* Experience with MBSE, Cameo/MSOSA, and/or SysML.
* Must be a U.S. citizen.
* Must be eligible and able to maintain a Security Clearance. Preferred Skills
* Demonstrated experience developing system architectures for complex aerospace vehicles or subsystems using MBSE (SysML/MSOSA).
* Prior leadership in system architecture or lead systems engineering roles; experience communicating architectural tradeoffs to stakeholders and customers.
* Understanding of various engineering analyses, including affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, system security, regulatory, certification, and product assurance.
* Familiarity with aircraft/flight systems and domain-specific engineering (ME, EE, SW) to evaluate integration impacts. Physical Requirements & Environment
