Raytheon has an Systems Engineer II position available to expand our Systems Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT) located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position will work to develop solutions to solve customer needs by providing customized engineering services and products for unique customer missions.
What You Will Do
Provide basic support developing and documenting requirements and interfaces, design analysis, modeling and simulation, system integration and trade studies
Provide basic support developing, documenting, and executing system verification to show compliance
Integrate software and hardware subsystems
Follow a structured data driven approach to solve problems
Contribute to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads
Follow established Systems Engineering processes and procedures
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
Experience applying basic engineering principles, theories, and/or concepts
Experience working in a multi discipline team environment
U.S. Citizen - the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Possess strong written and oral communication skills
Strong interest in working with SYSML and CAMEO
Exposure to SYSML and CAMEO
Exposure to requirements development, derivation, and management
Exposure to integration of software and hardware subsystems
Exposure to security engineering concepts and practices and the software development life cycle
Exposure to Aerospace platforms / systems
Ability to research and distill data into meaningful information
Experience using MS Office Suite of tools

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
