Role Summary
* We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer with a background in engineering or physics to create clear, user-focused technical documentation. This role involves reverse engineering code to develop functional diagrams, writing Doxygen content, and collaborating with engineers to produce accurate manuals, specifications, and process documents. Ideal candidates will have experience with C++, C, Python, Git, and VS Code, and a strong ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Education and Job Requirements:
* Must have a mechanical, aerospace, electrical engineering, or physics bachelor’s degree
* Must have two or more years of experience developing C++, C, and Python software
* Must possess functional use of Git Version Control
* Must possess functional use of Microsoft VS-Code
* Must be fluent in verbal and written English
* Must possess a proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
* Must have experience in working with engineers to improve understanding, refine content, and create visuals and diagrams
* Must possess the ability to handle multiple technical writing assignments simultaneously Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
* Possess a practical use of Artificial Intelligence to analyze code and create technical content
* Microsoft Office Suite
* Modeling and Simulation knowledge
* Firm understanding of SDLC (Systems Development Lifecycle) Objectives of this role:
* Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards
* Gain a deep understanding of products and translate complex information into comprehensive, accurate, and standards-compliant content.
* Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights into language for user success Responsibilities:
* Reverse engineer existing code baseline to develop representative block diagrams, functional descriptions, mathematical formulas, and interface diagrams
* Develop Doxygen content
* Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
