Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent to join the Supply Chain Commodities and Services team in Huntsville, AL.
Position Responsibilities:
Negotiates and contract for products, services and technologies
Engages myriad stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions, prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements with Boeing suppliers
Optimizes execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand and manage supplier / subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance
Mitigates risks and issues and initiate supplier improvement activities and provide results for integration into contracting strategies
Reviews data from multiple business systems
Validates and adjust quantity, schedule, inventory balances, order policy and compliance
Interfaces with customers and suppliers to resolve issues
Conducts source selections, negotiates and documents purchase contracts and agreements within procurement commitment authority
Assists with gathering performance data to monitor supplier capability, capacity and business health
Assists with monitoring of supplier performance to contract
Supports supplier performance reviews
Transmits technical data and business communications
Learns import and export policies and procedures
Process proprietary information agreements to ensure data protection
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years’ experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
Experience with and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
1+ years’ experience working both independently and in team environments
1+ years’ experience in performing data analysis
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals
1+ years’ commercial off the shelf procurement experience
1+ years’ experience working with cross-functional teams
Work Location:
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 15 of the time.

Summary pay range: USD $60,350 – $74,550
