We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Agent to join our Executive Transport team in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you’ll directly contribute to one of the most innovative projects in the aerospace industry—working on next-generation Executive Transport Aircraft.
As a Procurement Agent, you’ll leverage your expertise to manage supply chain activities and collaborate with top-tier suppliers to ensure the success of this cutting-edge program. Your impact will resonate across the project, helping shape the future of executive transport aircraft.
Your Role and Impact:As a Senior Procurement Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless supply chain operations through effective management of sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier performance.
Supply Chain Oversight: Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance to keep the project on track.
Lead Negotiations: Take charge of negotiating pricing and contract terms, ensuring favorable outcomes for all parties involved.
Contract Execution: Prepare, execute, and enforce negotiation strategies, contractual documents, and binding agreements.
Supplier Collaboration: Work directly with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues and lead teams to drive strategic supplier solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to identify and integrate supply chain process improvements into future contract strategies.
Team Leadership: Guide supplier performance teams to ensure all strategic goals are met across programs and commodities.
This is a 100 onsite position, where you’ll work closely with a highly collaborative team in San Antonio.
What We’re Looking For:Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of Procurement Experience: Proven experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices.
Expert Negotiator: Ability to negotiate contract terms and conditions, manage supplier relationships, and ensure performance meets program needs.
Contract Management: Experience interpreting and enforcing contract terms, including various types of contracts (Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, etc.).
Strong Organizational Skills: Excellent at managing multiple tasks and priorities with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher: A degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Extensive Supplier Management/Procurement Experience: 5+ years as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer, managing supplier relationships and contracts.
Familiarity with U.S. Department of Defense Contracts: In-depth experience with government contracts and FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
Training in TINA (Truth in Negotiations Act): Experience with or training in TINA regulations is a plus.

Pay Details: $51.43 to $62.00 per hour
