THE BUSINESS GROUP

The Corporate Strategic Business Group (CORP SBG) atHoneywell is a division focused on corporate-level functions and initiativesthat support the overall operations and strategy of the company. It isresponsible for overseeing areas such as finance, legal, human resources,communications, and corporate governance, working closely with other businessunits and SBGs to ensure alignment and coordination across the organization.The CORP SBG plays a crucial role in the overall strategic direction and managementof Honeywells corporate functions and operations, supporting the companysbusiness objectives.

THE POSITION

As a Lead IT Analyst - SAP Functional (Finance) here atHoneywell, you will be responsible for providing expertise in SAP Financemodules and supporting the finance operations of the company. You will play acritical role in managing and optimizing our SAP Finance systems to ensureefficient and accurate financial operations. Your knowledge of SAP Financemodules and your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams willcontribute to the overall success of Honeywell.

You will report directly to our Senior IT Director, and youllwork out of our Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, OR Phoeniz, AZ locations on a Hybrid workschedule. In this role, you will impact the companys financialdecision-making, operational efficiency, and long-term growth, making you anessential asset to the organization. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Provide expertise in SAP Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, New GL, Project Systems, Input/output Tax Calculation, Product Costing, Banking Integration, Finance integration points to other modules like OM and ISC (not all required).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP Finance system solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP Finance modules to meet business needs and optimize system functionality.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Provide end-user support and training on SAP Finance system functionality and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and internal stakeholders to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy and security.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and drive efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls by performing regular system audits.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

YOU MUST HAVE

•  Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP Finance functional analysis or related roles.
• Minimum of 5 end to end SAP deployment projects taking a central delivery role on site
• Strong expertise in SAP Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting.
• Understanding the full cycle of A2R, C2C and P2P
• Proficiency in SAP configuration and customization.
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with leadership
• Ability to exemplify strategic thinking and complex problem-solving

• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards, such as GAAP and IFRS.
