This position is based in Long Island, NY reporting to the Electrical Power Operations Finance Leader and supporting the Conversion & Controls business Leaders along with business CFO. This role is a key part of the Electrical Power Operational Finance and will be responsible for all financial support to the Conversion & Control operations team, driving performance, managing often complex issues, and contributing to the overall business strategy.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Analyze product cost with emphasis on manufacture cost – labor, material & overhead expenses.
- Identify cost out opportunities – support increase profitability strategies.
- Monitor cost out – productivity, including but not limited to labor, material, overhead, and cost of quality.
- Supporting internal and external requests for product cost actuals incurred along with analysis where appropriate.
- Develop and analyze Supply Chain Pool rates including GAAP & USG Forward Pricing Rates.
- Enforcing system, physical inventory and property & equipment controls while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial statement assertions.
- Ensure accuracy, timely physical audits and reconciliations of customer bonded stock inventory and inventory held at suppliers (may require travel).
- Manage Engineering Sustaining costs including developing annual Operating Plans consistent with Supply Chain product volume assumptions / profitability.
- Drive controls and checks across systems to increase data quality and identify process or systems issues quickly and get them corrected
- Ensure compliance with applicable Cost Disclosure statements and Cost Accounting Standards.
- Support the business CFO in driving the business performance.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting role.
- Must be a U.S citizen due to government contract requirements.

The base pay range for this position is $101,000.00 - 135,000.00 Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary. This posting is expected to close on 4/28/26.
