We have an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Procurement Agent to join our Executive Transport team in San Antonio, TX. In this high-impact role, you’ll play a critical part in sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for a cutting-edge Executive Transport Aircraft program that will shape the future of aviation.

What You’ll Be Doing:Source Selection & Strategy: Integrate program, customer, product, and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions, ensuring the best deals for both the company and our customers.
Contract Execution: Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Risk & Opportunity Management: Conduct risk, issue, and opportunity management to identify and address potential challenges before they impact the project.
Supplier Performance Management: Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance to ensure the smooth execution of the program.
Continuous Improvement: Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities, integrating results into future contracting strategies to enhance performance and efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on program goals, schedules, and contract requirements.
What You Bring to the Table:Required Skills & Experience:
Procurement & Supply Chain Experience: 3+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.
Strong Negotiation Skills: Experience in negotiating pricing and contract terms with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes.
Detail-Oriented: Ability to review and analyze complex documents, contracts, and data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Familiarity with U.S. Department of Defense Contracts: Knowledge of working with government contracts and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher: A degree in a relevant field is preferred, though not required.
Experienced Buyer/Purchasing Agent: 3+ years of experience as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer in aerospace or a similar industry.
Government Contracting Knowledge: Experience with various contract types, including Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, and Cost-Plus contracts.
FAR & TINA Expertise: Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) is highly desirable.
