The Raytheon Finance Operations Supply Chain (OSC) organization has an opening for Senior Analyst, Program Cost Controls (P2). This role is on the Material Execution Finance team supporting the Strategic Missile Defense Line and will work closely with the Business Office and the Program Operations Manager supporting exciting and challenging programs. As a member of this Finance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Supply Chain financials. Scope of work includes but are not limited to monthly Estimated Actuals, weekly & monthly variance reporting, material EV & EAC development and weekly analysis of cost runs with direct support to both Control Accounts Managers (CAMs) as well as the Program Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop a strong fundamental understanding of the factory environment, while also working closely with the Program Finance office to ensure financial targets are achieved. The ability to be self-sufficient as well as operating in a team environment, supporting both the Functional organizations as well as ensuring program financial commitments are met will be fundamental to success in this role. Business management covers a wide set of requirements, and a successful candidate will need to show flexibility in job abilities and strong communication skills while working on cyclical monthly cycles. This position will be onsite based out of our Tucson, AZ facility.
What You Will Do:
Monthly close process working Estimated Actuals & Material Earned Value
In depth analysis of material LRE/ETC on a monthly cadence
Providing cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring, and analysis support to OSC leaders, leadership teams, and management using standard company tools and processes.
Monitor actual costs and explain variances to plans and forecasts.
Manage cost accumulation methods for material on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Assist with cost reduction projects, support and leadership based on manufacturing and functional expertise and experiences.
Support the preparation of cost estimates for new business proposals and assist Estimating and Program Analysts in developing rationale for basis of estimates.
Support Factory and Program activities in the business management role including being a key participant in all organizational decisions.
Support the creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) on a quarterly basis including costs, risks and opportunities for Factories and at the Program / Product Line level.
Assist in the development and streamlining of GSCM material reports, EAC management and special projects to drive internal efficiencies.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically, candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and 2 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced Degree in a related field and less than 2 years’ finance experience. Preferred degrees in in Business, Accounting, Finance or Math or related field.
Experience using Microsoft Office tools (advanced Excel preferred)
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
The confidence and courage to effectively lead, present, and participate in large and small meetings and status sessions, even when having to provide bad news or disagree with management
Ability to quickly learn advanced financial and planning skills required by multitask requirements and to create support plans and schedules for small to large projects in a cross-functional environment
Strong leadership abilities, excellent speaking and presentation skills
Understanding of production or similar schedule driven environment within a profit driven business based on practical experience. Ability to discuss Profit and Loss (P&L) relationships from contracts to cost analysis
Experience in a factory environment
Problem solving abilities that bridge production realities to financial commitments
Experience in Microsoft analysis, SAP Business Systems (APEX, PRISM, Business Warehouse)

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
