Job Summary
The Interiors Technician (INT) works as part of an assigned hangar team which is comprised of AMTs, ATs, INTs and Quality Inspectors in support of aircraft maintenance projects. The INT-3 performs build modify, install and inspect interior components in the aircraft.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
· Accomplishes all work while following company and industry safety standards while maintaining the highest level of quality.
· Adheres to all FAA Regulations, the Repair Station Quality Control Manual (RSQCM), and all other approved data.
· Performs all interior related work cards needed for Falcon Jet aircraft as identified in the work order with minimal supervision.
· Perform all interior related troubleshooting and assist other disciplines with troubleshooting as required.
· Able to remove, install, modify and fabricate complex interior components in accordance with approved technical data.
· Able to cut and fit carpet and other flooring materials with little supervision.
· Perform basic upholstery as required from work order.
· Understands how to perform finish touchups on cabinetry.
· Execute function testing and troubleshooting on interior components, air, water, waste water and oxygen systems.
· Able to locate, read, understand and work from blueprints, CATIA models and work instructions.
· Understands how to use measuring devices and understand intermediate math.
· Contributes to a positive work environment while maintaining the utmost level of professionalism at all times.
· Able and willing to mentor others.
· Willingness to temporarily stand in as lead interior technician when requested.
· Ensures all documents are signed off completely, properly and in a timely manner in accordance with the RSQCM.
· Works assigned shift and unscheduled overtime as-needed or requested.
· Ability to travel and perform AOG maintenance.
· Occasionally communicates directly with customers and vendors.
· Maintains a clean and organized work area at all times.
· Adheres to company dress standards.
· Perform all other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company.
Qualifications
· High school graduate or equivalent with additional courses in aircraft maintenance in recognized service or technical school programs.
· 3+ years Falcon interiors experience preferred.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
· Advanced skill with Corridor, Field 6, and other required manuals.
· Successful completion all INT-2 assigned tasks or equivalent experience.
· Must have required tools (see approved minimum tool list).
Working Conditions
· Works in a climate controlled hangars. (Heated and Cooled)
· Occasionally works outside on tarmac in atmospheric weather conditions.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to wear and utilize personal protective equipment
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance
· Comfortable in tightly enclosed areas, heights involving lifts and ladders, as well as, flying.
· Requires the ability to perform all physical functions of the job (hear, stand, kneel, walk, etc.)
