- Ability to perform tasks with little to no rework.
- Ability to demonstrate safe and compliant work habits at all times, to include use of Personal Protective Equipment.
What you need to be successful
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience with interior removal, modification, and installation or equivalent is required.
Previous experience in the following areas is strongly preferred:
- Experience working auto, boat, furniture, or aviation upholstery (aviation preferred)
- Experience working with industrial sewing machines (long Arm, walking foot, air and manual controlled)
- Experience with sewing heavy fabrics and leather
- Experience with pattern making and sewing
- Experience in covering complex rigid panels with fabrics and leather (using adhesives)
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
- Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
- Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
- Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
