What are your contributions to the team?
- Process Engineering requests for flight test data
- Perform routine system administration activities for data request systems, for example, set-up user accounts, assign permissions, and troubleshoot data output
- Design and create graphical user interface (GUIs) to collect and display telemetry data during flight-testing
- Participate with Instrumentation and Engineering groups to troubleshoot flight test data anomalies
- Identify, troubleshoot, and/or report problems or anomalies with flight test data systems to appropriate personnel, for example, error messages on project load, software process and GUIs issues
- Set-up flight test equipment, operate telemetry system to collect and display data during flight-testing
How to thrive in this role?
- Per US ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) Requirements, must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
- Associates/technical college degree or 2+ years relevant work experience
- Intermediate knowledge with Windows and basic knowledge with Linux operating system
- Occasional domestic and abroad travel required to support offsite flight-testing
- Occasional periods of lifting, carrying, and handling up to 35lbs and over 50lbs with assistance
- Basic computer command line knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio)
