We are seeking Multispindle and CNC Machinists to set-up and operates computer numerical control lathes, indexes, and machining centers to cut, shape, or form metal work pieces to specification in a medium-high volume production facility.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Set-up and operate CNC Index Multispindle, Mori Cell, Okuma, or Hone machines.
- Monitors and removes metal chips from tools and equipment and disposes of them in the proper container.
- Monitors machine condition and reports unusual noises or occurrences to supervisor or shift lead.
- Monitors cutting conditions and alerts supervisor or lead if tools are not cutting properly.
- Performs housekeeping tasks (6S) to maintain a clean and orderly work area, including but not limited to wiping the surfaces of the machine, lubricating, sweeping, and mopping.
Qualifications
- 1-5 years minimum experience on set-up and operation of a CNC lathe with lot quantities that exceed 100+ units.
- Ability to read machining CNC programs and have a basic understanding of "M" and "G" codes.
- Understanding of basic tabletop gages, including Micrometers, Calipers, Sunnen Gages, and Bore Micrometers.
- Prior experience with Index Multispindle, Index Lathes, or "Screw" Machines preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedures.
Shift Availability
Friday-Sunday, 5am-5:30pm (work 36 hours, get paid for 40)
Monday-Wednesday, 5am-5:30pm, Thursday, 5am-9am
Monday-Wednesday, 5pm-5:30am, Thursday, 5pm-9pm
All shifts starting after 12:00pm will receive an additional $1.00/hour.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $24.00 to $36.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
