POSITIONSUMMARY:
Underdirect guidance, direction, and oversight: Review samples, drawings, orinstructions to understand specifications of output. Planning the sequence ofnecessary actions for the completion of a job, programming measurements, andspaning material for cutting or shaping on VIP aircraft modifications inaccordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.
ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS:
Reviewsamples, drawings, or instructions to understand specifications of output.
Planthe sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job to meet blueprintrequirements.
Knowledgeof proper working material per engineering documentation and takingmeasurements and span material for cutting or shaping
Knowledgeon importing modes from Solid Works and programming tool paths on Mastercam
Selectappropriate size of batches, speed of machine, etc.
Selectappropriate tooling for Anderson Stratus Pro-3 axis router and positionmaterial for job
Observecompany rules and regulations, including housekeeping and proper use of safetymethods and the safe operation of equipment.
Adheresto all record-keeping requirements and paperwork to ensure work is performedI.A.W stated documents and following the protocol of RSQM and IOP’s.
Monitormachine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperatures,identify issues, and perform preventive maintenance.
Mentorjunior collogues in proficiencies of running CNC Programming/Operation
Ensurea clean and safe work environment.

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC:
HighSchool Diploma, or GED, plus proven experience as a machinist.
Experiencein using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools andmachines (CNC, grinders etc.)
Abilityto read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Abilityto read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
REQUIREDSKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ableto read, interpret and understand blueprints.
Mustbe self-starting and motivated with the desire to learn.
Abilityto apply the use of routine to complex mathematical problems to solve workissues.
Abilityto comprehend and retain OJT.
Abilityto read measuring devices such as a scale or caliper or other required tools.
Abilityto use basic shop equipment (drill press, band saw, sander, etc.).
Abilityto use basic hand tools (grinder, drill motor, wrenches, etc.).
Abilityto read and write English.
Strongability to provide verbal and written communication.
Mastercamexperience.
AndersonRouter experience preferred.
