STS Technical Services is hiring a Customer Quality Auditor in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
The Customer Quality Auditor ensures that every Wacker Neuson machine leaving the facility meets strict quality standards and represents a “zero defects” mindset from the customer’s point of view. This role works across departments to review finished equipment, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit completed machines using standardized Excel scorecards, selecting random samples of equipment ready for shipment.
- Review audit findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform and document Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) to ensure customer-ordered equipment meets shipping and quality requirements.
- Partner with Logistics, Production, and Repair/Restore teams to coordinate efficient rework and meet shipping deadlines.
- Conduct scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) on equipment in stock to maintain readiness for sales orders.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience in construction equipment quality, production, or field operations.
- Strong attention to detail, independence, and problem-solving ability.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for working with diverse teams.
- Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and SAP.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to all weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, snow).
- Willingness to work in loud environments (hearing protection required).
- May operate Wacker Neuson equipment (training provided).
