Job Role
* Contributes to the successful production and integration of high-quality aerospace and mechanical systems through expert execution of fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes, ensuring adherence to strict specifications. Job Requirements/Education
* High School Diploma or GED and typically 4 OR more years of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Additional secondary duties in other areas will also be performed as required.
* Will be required to obtain manufacturing certifications on an as-needed basis, including any associated physical examination.
* Will be required to perform cleanup and administrative functions as required to support daily activities.
* Must obtain a NASA cert post-start. Job Duties
* Performs machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrications, extrusions, tube bending, and fabrication tasks.
* Performs composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks.
* Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
* Performs assembly, repairs, modifications, and installs various power plants and drive trains.
* Perform soldering on electronic and avionics products.
* Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products.
* Prepares test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to perform various tests.
* Performs organic chemical conversion and paint preparation.
* Applies organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.
* Works on complex components and systems using established drawings and requirements. Top 3-5 Skills Required: 2 Orbital Tube Welders
* Must be certified – orbital tube weld certification
* Must have experience with tube installation, this is a plus +
* Client aircraft experience is a plus 4 Tube Installers
* Must have experience with tube installation
* Client aircraft experience is a plus Physical demands (if any):
* Must be comfortable in a small, confined space.
* As well as agile and flexible.
* Weight limit of 250 lb on the panel they will be working on.
