Tools & Equipment Used:
Inspector’s hand and marking tools, material-testing equipment such as Magnaflux, Rockwell, Zyglo, Brinell, etc. Precision measuring instruments and special testing devices and equipment, etc. as necessary. Utilization of electronic systems and data administration such as: Electronic Planning, CAMS, First Article Inspections, SAP, Enovia, VQM, surveillance systems, time keeping systems, calibration systems, etc.
Experience & Other Requirements:
Three (3) years related inspection experience including finishes, coatings and processes. Three (3) years’ experience as a certified Level II Liquid Penetrant Inspector and a Magnetic Particle Inspector per NAS 410 or equivalent and able to re-certify at Bell. New employees must re-certify prior to completing their probationary period at Bell. Upgrading employees must re-certify prior to completing their upgrade trial period. Must be able to provide documentation of formal training and experience hours.
