Please Note this position supports our 2^nd Shift. You will be paid a 10 Pay Premium while working the 2^nd Shift.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100 of the time.

Operating tools such as lathes, milling machines, 5 Axis CNC equipment, shapers, planers, and precision grinders.
Use of common machinists hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
Following sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and methods of setup.
Understanding of standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
May modify numerically controlled programs on numerically controlled (NC) machines.
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Job Requirements:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

High School Diploma or GED

1 year work experience or equivalent experience.
Experience using tools such as lathes, milling machines, 5 Axis CNC equipment, shapers, planers, and precision grinders.
Typically requires completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $46680 - $74687

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
