Job Title: Manufacturing Planner
Job Type: Full time; Consultant (12 months)
Location: Heath, OH
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 7AM-3PM
Pay Rate: $42.00 - $47.20 per hour
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Planning Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOM), work instructions, and illustrations to define and document the as-built configuration of products.
This role involves creating manufacturing concepts and strategies to align with business objectives, integrating suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. The Specialist reviews and approves supplier data, develops tooling requirements, and manages tools throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOM), work instructions, and illustrations.
Formulate manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
Integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
Review and approve supplier data to ensure alignment with manufacturing requirements.
Develop tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering needs.
Manage tooling from initial design through end-of-use disposition.
Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues.
Perform producibility assessments for part or product designs.
Provide input to design, manufacturing processes, and technologies to meet cost and scheduling objectives.
Develop integrated work statements and event sequencing to support delivery commitments.
Draft, update, and review processes and procedures to meet business and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Associate’s Degree in a technical field.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
Ability to manage tooling and integrate various manufacturing components.
Proficient in reviewing and approving supplier data and resolving manufacturing issues.
Skilled in drafting and updating processes and procedures.
Pay Details: $42.00 to $47.20 per hour
