Schedule: Monday to Friday, First Shift (7AM-3:30PM)
Pay Rate: $18.96 per hour
About the Role:PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Material Handler to support the CSR Materials Administrator function at our aerospace facility. This critical role ensures the safe handling and processing of aircraft materials and parts, contributing to the smooth flow of operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company best practices.
As a Material Handler, you will play an integral part in managing incoming goods, returns, and discrepancies, while supporting a highly efficient and organized work environment. Your efforts will directly impact the quality and effectiveness of materials management, ensuring parts are tracked, processed, and delivered on time.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Process Incoming Goods: Log and track daily incoming materials and returns into the Repair Center database and ERP systems.
Manage Discrepancies: Identify, log, and track discrepancies (e.g., paperwork, part numbers, serial numbers) for items that cannot be inducted.
Coordinate with Customers: Communicate with both internal and external customers regarding product returns, repairs, and receiving issues.
Track Deliveries: Maintain accurate delivery records for received products and manage RAI activity, including tracking AWBs and dates.
Report Metrics: Provide daily reports on key metrics, including grief units in-house, units added, and cleared, and top customer performance.
Control and Organize: Manage grief units, ensuring proper identification and resolution of issues.
General Housekeeping: Keep your work area clean and organized, following safety and regulatory guidelines.
File Documentation: File and process paperwork for repairs and returns, ensuring all records are properly maintained.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with customer service, shipping/receiving teams, and MRO leadership to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or equivalent 2-year post-high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, 4 years of relevant experience in the absence of a diploma.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook required; PowerPoint, Teams preferred).
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Previous experience in a materials or customer service role.
Ability to maintain accurate records and data entry with precision.

Pay Details: $18.96 per hour
