What you will do:
The Material Master Data Governance Lead within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) organization will be responsible for overseeing, managing and implementing the data governance framework for the Material Master Data domain. This role involves creating and enforcing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure effective and secure management of master data. They will leverage best practices and industry standards in master data governance to analyze process health, as well as ensure data quality, preparing for future governance tools and ERP solutions.
- Articulate the organizations data governance vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Own Material Master Data Governance processes, tools, and data standards
- Ensure that data governance practices align with organizational goals and objectives
- Establishing guidelines and protocols for data management, including data quality, data privacy, and compliance
- Define and engage functional data owners for processes including, but not limited to, Finance, Planning, Production Control, Procurement, Global Trades, Quality & Warehousing
- Ensure that data practices comply with relevant policies and procedures to protect data privacy and security
- Train and educate employees about data governance policies and best practices
- Monitor and report key metrics reflecting the effectiveness of data governance initiatives
- Lead regular governance reviews focused on process non-conformance reduction, data trends, and opportunities for improvement
- Present monthly results to executive leadership
- Manage standard work / policies / procedures / KPIs
- Collaborate across functional areas to manage change and implement new processes
Qualifications you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience in Operations or Supply Chain; or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Knowledge and familiarity with SAP System transactions
Qualifications we prefer:
- Experience with Data Governance
- APICS / ASCM certification
- Raytheon Six Sigma, or CORE advanced certification
- Ability to process and communicate information using MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- SQL and data analytics experience

This role is:
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.
The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
