East Hartford Repair Operation (EHRO) Consists of two business units – Connecticut Static components (CTSC) and Connecticut Rotating parts (CTRP). Serving both Military and commercial clients, our businesses are focused on safely delivering high quality parts on time.

As a member of the materials organization, you will provide oversight and management of EHRO’s product and Non-product material, inventory, and external vendor needs. You will work closely with cell leaders, Quality, engineering, customer service, and finance to ensure all operational needs are met through availability of details and vended processes.  

What You Will Do:

  • Attend production meetings to report on status, discuss issues, & determine plans

  • Place & expedite purchase orders/ Manage PO Supplements

  • Communicate with suppliers/vendors on status, expedites, etc.

  • Generate reporting to operations highlighting Vendor commitments multiple times a week

  • You will work with price negotiation, track supplier performance, and develop improvement plans. You will be working on strategic cost reduction initiatives.

  • Analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies. Researching and identifying prospective suppliers.

  • You will also ensure inventory is accurate & any quality concerns are addressed.

What You Will Learn:

  • Manufacturing Operations experience

  • Ability to lead and prioritize vendor targets

  • Learn to work cross functionally across the organization

  • Drive process change and continuous improvement across organization

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience to include procurement, supply chain, delivery assurance, sales or purchasing. Or an Advanced Degree and3 years of experience to include procurement, supply chain, delivery assurance, sales or purchasing. Or HS Diploma and 9 years of experience to include procurement, supply chain, delivery assurance, sales or purchasing. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience communicating with all levels of organization and leadership

  • Manufacturing Operations experience

  • MRP/ERP Experience

  • High proficiency in MS Office suite

  • Proven purchasing experience

  • Understand ITAR, EAR, and other applicable laws and regulations governing international trade.

This role is:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
