Our employees are not only part of history, theyre making history. NGC MLSS is looking for a Principla Manufacturing Analyst to work in the Sykesville, MD NGC facility. The successful candidate will be self-motived with strong organizational, analytical, presentation, problem resolution, and process improvement skills; and be comfortable communicating with internal and external customers, as well as working in cross functional teams.
Role Responsibilities:
Planning, organizing, and controlling the timely flow of product through Receiving and Inventory to support both internal and external customer delivery requirements
Serving as the primary interface between Production Management, Global Supply Chain Management, Suppliers, Operations Program Management, Production Material Control Specialists, Kitting, and Inventory Management as well as interfacing with Engineering and Quality
Providing status of hardware through Non- Receivables, Engineering Loan, EP Compliance Evaluations, Cycle Count, Scrap Disposition, Contract Close-outs, No-cost Transfers, Residual Material Admins
Providing status of hardware of assigned Programs from the time of initial kit conversion, through manufacturing process, to delivery of hardware to internal and or external customers
SAP metric maintenance, i.e. Aging Orders, and Overdue hours, Confirmed not Delivered orders, floor stock inventory control, and the resolving of material shortages as they’re late to open production orders
Basic Qualifications: Principal Manufacturing Analyst
*Bachelors Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, or Production Control, Supply Chain or similar environment; Master’s Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, or Production Control, Supply Chain or similar environment (Note: 9 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, or Production Control, Supply Chain or similar environment considered in lieu of a bachelors degree)
*Must have a current active DoD Secret Security Clearance(minimum) with an investigation date of less than 5 years to be considered
*Well versed in SAP/ERP or other related systems
*Experience with computer systems such as Microsoft Office, SAP, ERP, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, or other closely related area
*Experience in MRP and Production Control
Salary Range: $84,600 - $127,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
